Med Bunker & Trade covers the business of fuelling and moving ships in the Mediterranean: bunker supply across the region, marine fuel prices and alternative fuels, vessel flags and ship registries, commodity and oil trading, Mediterranean ports and logistics, and the sanctions, emissions and EU rules shaping the region. We write for bunker traders, suppliers, shipowners, charterers, port agents and the regulators who set the rules.

Every story carries a content label — original reporting, aggregated coverage, press release, contributed or sponsored — so you always know what you are reading.

How we work

Reporting is sourced from named market participants, official filings, exchange and regulator data, and reputable trade sources. Where a story is built on another publication's work, we say so and link to it in an attribution footnote. We do not publish anonymous allegations about the companies we cover.

Commercial relationships never determine coverage. Sponsored material is labelled as such, is never written by the newsroom, and never appears as news.
